I have more than fifteen years of proofreading and editing experience on a broad range of materials and subject areas. I am a native speaker of American English with superb grammar and usage skills, an extensive vocabulary, and an excellent level of attention to detail. I am a member of the Ohio Writers' Association and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (I write primarily middle grade and young adult fantasy and science fiction), and an active member in my local writing community. I am well-acquainted with the modern publishing world and its expectations for both fiction and nonfiction.

I have Master's degrees in Education and Library Science, and am knowledgeable about academic writing at all levels. I have proofread and edited dissertations, theses, and academic papers in many different disciplines, as well as papers for top-tier academic and professional journals.
